Description

Sentrum Upper Secondary School has a vacancy for an 80% teaching position. There is a need for teaching expertise in the following subjects: Norwegian, social studies and history from August 1, 2026 to January 25, 2027.

The teaching will take place in vocational and preparatory education programs.

We are looking for you who have

  • experience with teaching from upper secondary school, but this is not a requirement
  • the ability to build good relationships with students and at the same time be a clear class leader
  • the ability to see the individual student's needs and adapt the teaching accordingly
  • a student view that emphasizes student participation in teaching
  • good collaboration skills
  • good understanding of the use of information technology as a work tool
  • good communication skills orally and in writing
  • driving license class B

Tasks

  • teaching in vocational and preparatory education programs

  • contribute to sharing and collaboration in the subject teams and the department

Qualification requirements

  • educational training
  • teaching competence in several of the subjects, minimum 60 credits.
