Description

Sentrum Upper Secondary School has a vacant permanent teaching position in Health and Upbringing subjects, 100% from 01.08.2026, as well as a temporary position in 100% from 01.08.2026 to 31.12.2026 with the possibility of extension in the same % or lower.

The teaching will take place on Vg1 Health and Upbringing subjects, Vg2 Child and Youth Worker and Vg2 Health Worker.

We are looking for you who have

  • experience in the field
  • pedagogical education, but this is not a requirement
  • experience with teaching from high school, but this is not a requirement

About the position

  • 100% permanent position available from 01.08.2026

Tasks

  • teaching in program subjects within Health and and growth subjects
  • contribute to students getting an apprenticeship contract
  • facilitate teaching in line with the students' needs
  • work for a safe learning environment in the classes
  • contribute to sharing and collaboration in the subject teams and the department
  • participate in the school's various collaborative bodies and arenas
  • other tasks according to the school's needs

Qualification requirements

  • 3-year vocational teacher education or relevant education from college/university in the relevant subject area
  • Have started with PPU or PPU-Y
  • personal suitability will be a decisive factor in employment
