Karriere Innlandet is responsible for career guidance and adult learning throughout the county and consists of nine regional career centers.

We work to meet society’s need for skills, contribute to increased participation in education and the workforce, and ensure that residents receive high-quality and equitable services.

Karriere Innlandet is part of the Regional Skills Development Section.

About the Position

We are seeking an advisor who will play a central role in ensuring quality, structure, and regulatory compliance within county administration, particularly in relation to upper secondary education for adults.

The position is specifically focused on monitoring laws and regulations and on developing common practices in the areas of adult rights and upper secondary education.

The work location will be determined in consultation with Karriere Innlandet.

This is a full-time (100%) permanent position.

Main responsibilities:

  • develop and refine procedures and routines
  • ensure proper implementation of laws and regulations within adult upper secondary education
  • monitor and quality-assure compliance with regulations
  • serve as the point of contact for the state administrator in matters related to regulations
  • contribute to the coordination and structure of professional development processes
  • assist in the development of tools, routines, and support for the organization
  • other tasks within the unit; case management within upper secondary education for adults
  • participation in various forums within the county and at the national level

The duties will involve close collaboration with both advisors and managers at Karriere Innlandet.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant higher education at a minimum of the bachelor’s level in public administration or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in public administration, preferably at the county level
  • Experience working with upper secondary education, particularly adult upper secondary education, will be given special consideration
  • Experience with regulatory work and/or the development of procedures and quality assurance is an advantage
  • Strong digital skills

Relevant experience may compensate for parts of the educational requirement.
