Stange High School has an opening for a temporary teaching position of up to 40% in music, from approximately September 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027

About the position

  • Up to 40% temporary position from approx. September 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027
  • Teaching band instruments in individual and group lessons, as well as guitar as a primary instrument

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching music courses at the high school level
  • Responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in accordance with the school’s quality system, curriculum, and local plans
  • Collaborating in teams on teaching and mentoring

Qualification Requirements

  • Relevant education in band instruments (individual and group lessons), as well as guitar as a primary instrument
  • Approved teacher training/PPU
  • Personal suitability is emphasized
  • Experience teaching music in high school is desirable.
