Description

Storsteigen Upper Secondary School has a vacant 100% permanent position as Head of Department Environment from August 1, 2026, school site Nordstumoen, Koppang.

About the position

  • 100% permanent position available from 01.08.2026
  • approx. 50% time for management, approx. 50% other tasks depending on the applicant's qualifications and the school's needs
  • the position is part of the school's management team

Tasks

  • lead the department for environment with responsibility for residential and leisure activities and life skills training
  • cooperation with centralized service cleaning, caretaker/operation, service
  • responsibility for school cars
  • personnel and financial responsibility for the environment department
  • overarching professional and environmental education
  • coordination and follow-up of employees and students in the department
  • prepare and follow up rosters
  • cooperation with the school department

Desired qualifications

  • relevant education and/or experience cf. the work tasks
  • good relationship and cooperation skills
  • good communication skills, written and oral
  • good ICT skills
