Description

Storsteigen vgs has a vacancy for up to 200% teaching position from August 1, 2026.

We are looking for a teacher with teaching expertise in mathematics (1P-Y), English (YF), science (YF) and physical education (all grades).
We are also looking for teachers in common program subjects (all-round nature use) where livestock and industry-based activities are central, but also technology, operational subjects and vocational specialization are desirable areas of expertise.
The positions in common subjects and common program subjects can be applied for separately or also preferably applied for combined for relevant applicants where relevant position sizes and subject combinations are indicated.

  • exercises good classroom management and contributes to the professional community
  • has good collaboration skills
  • teaches and assesses in line with the school owner's guidelines
  • communicates well orally and in writing, and have good digital skills

About the position

  • up to 200% permanent position from 1. August 2026
  • The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience, cf. The unit has a place of work (enter location), but we can offer various forms of flexibility for those with the right skills

  • teach and supervise pupils
  • contact teacher function may be relevant
  • collaborate and contribute to the professional community, subject sections and class teams

Qualification requirements

  • approved education in accordance with applicable legislation
