About the unit

The Career Center is part of Career Innlandet and Innlandet County Council's commitment to adult learning and career guidance. The career center's tasks include career and study guidance, upper secondary education for adults, and facilitating decentralized vocational school/higher education. The Career Center collaborates on guidance and training services with the employment and business sectors, municipalities and NAV. The goal is to make the offers and opportunities more accessible to the region's inhabitants.

We are looking for someone who

• Has formal teaching competence at upper secondary level in mathematics and science.
• Has completed practical pedagogical education.
• Has experience in training multilingual participants, preferably both young people and adults.
• Has good relationship skills and the ability to guide and motivate our participants.
• Ability to see the individual participant and show flexibility in the training.
• Reflect on their own practice.
• Personal suitability will be emphasized.

About the position

• Up to 36% temporary teaching position at upper secondary level in mathematics and science, the subjects can be applied for together or separately.
• The position is temporary with duration from 01. The position is temporary from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027.
• The place of work is Karriere Innlandet Gudbrandsdal, Skansen 7.
• Teaching will be mainly in the evenings and some during the day.
• Position code depending on education and experience, cf. laws and agreements.

Tasks

• Teach adults at upper secondary level.
• Facilitate good and flexible training courses.
• Involve participants in learning and assessment work.
• Give participants feedback that promotes learning.
• Participation in various projects at the career center.
• Be a contributor in the subject team, department and in joint collaboration arenas.

Qualification requirements

• Approved education in the subject of mathematics and science.
• Completed practical-pedagogical education.
