Do you want to help educate those who will develop the logistics, transport and flow of supply chains and services of the future?

Fagskolen Innlandet has a vacant permanent 100% teaching position as a lecturer in logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM), starting August 1, 2026 or by appointment.

We are looking for you with experience from logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution or purchasing - but also you who work with patient flow, service logistics or resource management in the health service.

With us, you teach motivated and experienced students with relevant work experience, who want competence replenishment and new opportunities.

We are looking for you who

  • have professional experience in several of the areas: logistics, transport, freight forwarding, warehouse and terminal operations, purchasing or improving the flow of service production
  • have an interest in efficient and sustainable supply chains in the public and private sectors
  • are able to connect theory and practice in logistics, transport, digitalization and improvement work
  • want to contribute to a work-oriented and interdisciplinary educational environment in collaboration with working life
  • have good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working with adult students
  • work structured and have good digital skills
  • teaching experience is desirable, but not a requirement.

About the position

  • 100% permanent position

Tasks

  • teaching and supervision in logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM), including areas such as transport and freight forwarding, warehouse and terminal management, purchasing and supply chains
  • contribute to the development of study programs, modules and teaching programs in close collaboration with working life
  • teaching and supervision of student projects related to logistics, service logistics and improving the flow of goods and service processes, including patient flow in the health service
  • contribute to the development of work-related teaching and professional best practice
  • collaboration in professional teams and participation in professional development work and networking

Desired qualifications

  • relevant vocational school, college or university education in logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • relevant work experience from logistics, transport, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution, purchasing or work with the flow of service processes, for example in the health service
  • good oral and written presentation skills
  • good digital skills
  • educational education is desirable, but is not necessary from the start. Educational training can be taken alongside work by arrangement
  • personal suitability will be emphasized
