Hamar Cathedral School has a vacancy for up to 50% permanent teaching position in technology and industrial subjects, starting 01.08.2026.

About the position

The position involves teaching program subjects in VG1 and VG2, following up students and participating in professional collaboration in the department.

We are looking for someone who

  • is committed, confident in the adult role and motivates students for learning
  • is structured, collaborates well in teams and emphasizes HSE
  • is professionally curious and open to new technology and development

Work tasks

  • responsibility for teaching and following up students in collaboration with other subject teachers, and the school's management, as well as contributing to educational and professional development

Qualifications

  • teaching expertise in technology and industrial subjects
  • good digital skills
  • relevant education and/or practice in one or more subject areas, such as automotive, CNC, manufacturing, etc.We offer

    If you do not have an approved pedagogical education, you can take this further education alongside your job. Innlandet County Council can offer this through various schemes. Teacher training for vocational subjects: PPU or YFL.
