Description
The Transport Department is advertising two permanent positions. One of the positions focuses on strategic planning and development. The other position focuses on plan management. The positions will be located in the Strategy and Planning section.
Position 1 is aimed at strategic planning in the transport area, both to safeguard the county's own road network and to contribute to strategic planning work within mobility, area and transport development. The position involves working with strategies, investigation and analysis work as well as national and regional transport development. Other tasks within the transport area may also be relevant. The section is responsible for leading and participating in strategic processes and development tasks that sometimes involve many people and disciplines. We are therefore looking for people who have experience of such processes.
Position 2 is aimed at safeguarding the county council's role in the transport area in accordance with the Planning and Building Act. This involves commenting on the municipalities' land use plans. We have a regional responsibility to ensure that guidelines for road safety, coordinated housing, land use and transport planning, public transport, as well as facilitation for pedestrians and cyclists, are taken into account in planning. As a road owner, we have a specific responsibility for the management and maintenance of the county road network. Case processing takes place in the county authority's case management system, the document flow is large and with deadlines, which requires you to be orderly and structured in your work. Tasks within strategic planning may also be relevant for this position.
For both positions:
We work closely in dialogue with municipalities and other partners. The activity is increasing.
