Samferdselsavdelingen/ Vegseksjonen enhet Drift has a vacant 100% permanent position as construction manager for operations contract 3401 Nordre Hedmarken.

  • The road section in the transport department in Innlandet is responsible for the operation and ordinary maintenance of approx. 7000 km of county roads with bridges and tunnels, heavy repair assignments and paving, development of roads and pedestrian / cycle paths and operation of the Randsfjord ferry etc.

This position is part of the Operations unit, which is responsible for the following deliveries:

  • Professional operation of the road network, with high quality, which provides good and safe accessibility, incl. emergency, corrective maintenance.
  • Condition-based maintenance planning, incl. inspections, object and condition registration.

  • About the position

    • 100% permanent position

    • the position will involve some travel
    • the person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience cf. legal and contractual requirements

    Tasks

    • participate in the preparation of tender documents and in the tendering process
    • planning of operation/maintenance measures on county roads in the contract area
    • follow up the contractor's work, including processing technical clarifications and changes, as well as following up continuous improvement in the execution of the contract's processes
    • prepare good control plans, carry out spot checks on the work carried out by the operating contractors on the contract, as well as documenting and reporting control results
    • enter and process data in NVDB
    • be HSE coordinator and have responsibility for HSE in the contract area
    • responsibility for and great focus on reporting HSE, quality, progress and finances
    • completing and documenting completed measures
    • having contact with municipalities, landowners, neighbors and other affected parties
    • having close contact with internal and external partners and being an active driver to create good cooperation in the contract area
    • it must be expected to move out from home to carry out checks in the event of special incidents

    Qualification requirements

    • have relevant education from technical college, university or college
    • if you have extensive and relevant experience, and good personal qualifications for the position, we can disregard the educational requirement
    • have extensive relevant practical work experience, minimum two years
    • driver's license class B
    • communicate well in Norwegian, both written and oral. Minimum level C1 (CEFR)

    Desired qualifications

    • relevant experience from construction, operation and maintenance of roads
    • good knowledge of digital solutions, with the ability and willingness to use new tools
