Description

1 road planner for a permanent position

About the unit

The position is organized in the Planning and Engineering unit at the Transport Department.

The Planning and Engineering unit covers the following disciplines: plan project management, road planning, BIM, stormwater, landscape and green subjects. We are employed at the office locations Gjøvik, Lillehammer and Hamar, and together we count 20 employees. The unit draws up zoning plans, and contributes to assessment tasks, construction plans and the construction phase. The road planner's primary task is the preparation of professional models and technical plans as a basis for these. We have many new projects in the pipeline and the time ahead will be exciting!

Our project portfolio is varied; both zoning and construction plans, interspersed with other design assignments. We have improvement measures, pedestrian and cycle paths, bridge projects and city center projects in our portfolio. We do a lot of our own production and also buy consultancy services. In the case of the latter, road planners check deliveries.

The county will work to promote green mobility, and we focus on increasing the proportion of pedestrians and cyclists in our county. Interest and expertise in this field is desirable.

We have a lot to do. Our new colleague must be self-motivated, have good work capacity and be steady in the subject. You will experience close cooperation with colleagues in Innlandet County Council, and with external partners. If you have additional expertise in land use planning, road technology, BIM, stormwater, noise or landscape, this is a plus, but not a must. It is desirable for our new colleague to have a broad professional background and a versatile approach to the task.
