Description

The Transportation Department is seeking two stormwater engineers for permanent positions.

About the Unit

The positions are part of the Planning and Design Unit within the Transportation Department.

The Planning and Design Unit covers the following disciplines: planning project management, road planning, BIM, stormwater management, and landscape and green space design. We are based at our offices in Gjøvik, Lillehammer, and Hamar. We prepare zoning plans and contribute to feasibility studies, construction plans, and the construction phase. The primary responsibility of stormwater engineers will be the design of stormwater solutions along county roads. The project portfolio is extensive, and the future looks exciting!

Our work is varied, encompassing both zoning and construction plans, interspersed with other design assignments such as improvement measures, pedestrian and bicycle paths, bridge projects, and downtown development projects. We handle much of the work in-house and also purchase consulting services. In the latter case, our design team performs quality control on the deliverables.

Our new colleague should be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be well-grounded in the field.

You’ll work closely with colleagues at Innlandet County Municipality and with external partners. We’d like our new colleague to have a well-rounded approach to the role.
