Description

Valdres Dental Clinic has a full-time (100%) temporary position available for a dental hygienist, to start as soon as possible and running through December 31, 2027.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to better oral health in Innlandet County—both through clinical work and outreach efforts. As a dental hygienist with us, you’ll be an important part of a team that works in innovative ways, with a particular focus on increasing our presence in the local communities. You’ll combine regular dental hygienist duties at the dental clinic with significantly more time dedicated to community outreach.

You’ll be part of a public health team that works closely with colleagues at the dental clinics. Together, we strengthen health promotion efforts and raise awareness of oral health throughout the county. 

About the Clinic

At Valdres Dental Clinic, the staff consists of: 3.9 dentist positions, 1.5 dental hygienist positions, and 4.0 dental health secretary/assistant positions.

About the position

• A 100% temporary position as a dental hygienist at Valdres Dental Clinic, to start as soon as possible and lasting through December 31, 2027.
• The dental clinic treats adult, self-paying patients in addition to the treatment groups required by law.
• The workplace is Valdres Dental Clinic, Garlivegen 16, 2900 Fagernes.

Qualifications

• The appointment will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the interview, education, work experience, and references.
• You should have a Class B driver’s license and access to a car.

We require

• Norwegian licensure as a dental hygienist.
• You must be fluent in Norwegian/Scandinavian, both spoken and written.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
