Valdres vidaregåande skule has a vacancy for up to 100% temporary teaching position in Health and Upbringing from August 1, 2026.

About the position

• up to 100% temporary position from 01.08.2026 to 31.01.2027 with the possibility of extension
• The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience, cf. The unit is based in Leira in Valdres, Norway

Tasks

• Planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching in collaboration with colleagues
• assessment
• follow-up of students in close collaboration with colleagues and the school's management
• create a safe and good learning environment in relevant classes
• contribute to the school's development work and development work and competence improvement

Desired qualifications

• college education with teaching expertise in both Vg1 and Vg2 health and upbringing
• knowledge in nutrition
• teaching experience from upper secondary school is an advantage
• ICT competence, both pedagogically and as a working tool
