The ambulance service at Innlandet Hospital is one of Norway's largest ambulance services, with 26 ambulance stations on call 24 hours a day. Our ambulance stations have large variations in assignments, and the amount of assignments varies both based on location and season. We are looking for holiday temps for summer 2026 for:
- Ambulance area Hedmark
- Ambulance area Oppland
We are primarily looking for holiday temps who hold authorization as an ambulance worker/paramedic, and who hold code 160 and driver's license C1.
Other authorized health personnel, paramedic students and nursing students 2nd year, may also be relevant.
All candidates must complete an internal course for temps. Two courses are planned in week 13 and week 17 respectively (applicants choose which week is most suitable). New holiday temps must agree on internship shifts as well as theoretical and practical check-out before joining (depending on previous experience/education).
The applicant is asked to state the desired geographical area in the application.

Tasks
- Ambulance assignments with examination, treatment, transfer and observation of patients in line with applicable laws, regulations, procedures and internal provisions at all times.
- Carry out daily routines at the ambulance station.
- Provide regular self-training and professional development.
- Participate in internal training, and take care of the delegations and certifications required.
- Interact with other emergency services and partners.
- The appointee must stay in a physical shape required to perform the tasks as an ambulance worker as well as commit to participating in internal training, conducting phasing and check-outs.
- Shifts at other stations must be expected when needed.
Qualifications
- Authorized ambulance worker
- Authorized paramedic
- Authorized nurse
- Paramedic and nursing students with a study period of at least 2 years, medical students with a license
- Other authorized health personnel will be considered
- Desirable with certificate of competence for emergency vehicles code 160
- Driver's license, desirable with class C1 (over 3500 kg)
- Must be fluent in written and oral Norwegian and have some computer skills
- Health certificate for driving license class D of recent date
- Must be fluent in written and oral Norwegian
- Physical suitability for the profession, physical test will be conducted
- Police certificate must be presented upon accession
