Søndre Land municipality and Sølve are looking for motivated and hard-working young people for summer jobs in construction and maintenance work. This is a great opportunity for those who want work experience and enjoy practical tasks.

About the job

Ten young people aged 16-18 will be employed. The work tasks will be varied and practical, including:

• Mowing
• Painting and cleaning
• Outdoor maintenance
• Other simple maintenance tasks as needed

The summer job period lasts for approx. 3 weeks.

Who can apply

• You must have reached the age of 16 before 1. June 2026
• You cannot apply if you turn 19 during 2026
• You like practical work and enjoy working outdoors
• You are punctual, cooperative and take responsibility
• You must live in Søndre Land municipality
• State in your application which weeks you cannot work

The jobs will be distributed by drawing lots on Tuesday, April 14 at 12 noon. 12

Working period

The work takes place in the summer weeks of June-August, but a total duration of 3 weeks.

The position applies

• The position is paid in accordance with the collective agreement with rates for young people in summer jobs.
• The employment is otherwise subject to the conditions and obligations stipulated by law, collective agreements and regulations.
