Then you have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the summer of 2026!

A summer job with us gives you insight into how the municipality works as an employer, while developing skills that you will benefit from both in education and working life. You will receive the necessary training and guidance along the way.

Duration:

The summer jobs have a duration of 3 weeks.
You are expected to be able to work during the period you are assigned, as we unfortunately do not have the opportunity to make changes.

When applying, please state:

• Which period you prefer
• Whether you can work in other periods if your first choice is not available
• Preference for department

We try to accommodate your wishes, but in case of high demand you may be offered another period or department.

The following summer jobs are offered:

• Verjåtunet sjukehjem, week 27,28,29 or week 30,31,32

Help with daily chores, as well as contributing with activities, conversations and other tasks related to our users and patients. This can be about assisting during meals, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping order or other things that are needed.

• Tjenesten for funksjonshemmede, avd. Rytrøa , week 27,28,29 or week 30,31,32

Help with daily chores, as well as contribute with activities, conversations and other tasks towards our users. This can be about assisting during meals, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping order or other things that are needed.

• Cleaning service, week 27,28,29

Daily cleaning in various buildings and departments in the municipality.

• Operations department, week 27,28,29

Occasional work outside in the operations department, grass cutting, painting etc.

• Our kindergarten, week 26,27,28 possibly week 27,28,29

Help children play and learn both inside and outside. Help in food and wardrobe situations and assist both children and staff in everyday life.

• Dalsbyga kindergarten, Week 26,27,28

Help children in play and learning both inside and outside. Help in food and wardrobe situations and assist both children and staff in everyday life.

• Summer club, week 26 and 27 + week 28 or 32 in Os kindergarten

Facilitation of activities for children. Help in food and wardrobe situations and assist both children and employees in everyday life.

Important information

• Police clearance is required for work with children and young people and in health and care
• Salary is paid in accordance with the municipality's main collective agreement (hourly wage according to tariff)

After the application deadline has passed, an appointments committee will review all applications. You will then be notified whether or not you have been offered a job. When hiring, the oldest are prioritized so that everyone who wants it should have been offered at least once during their youth.
