Prosjekt " JOB:U team Kongsvinger", seeks adult youth or adult as a supervisor for young people in forest care.

Do you like working outdoors, have good knowledge of forestry and the use of a clearing saw and want to work as a supervisor for fit youth? Then you have the opportunity now. Kongsvinger municipality, in collaboration with Skogselskapet i Hedmark and Sør-Hedmark Næringshage, is looking for supervisors for summer jobs in the forest.

Applicants who are offered a summer job will be certified through a free course in young forest care with a chainsaw. The course will run over 2-3 days in week 26.


Work tasks

  • Work management of young people with a clearing saw (approx. 1/3 of the time)
  • Young forest care and pre-clearing (approx. 2/3 of the time)
  • Participation in a joint trip to Evenstad 9.July 9 (forestry education in Innlandet)

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience
  • Experience from forest and forestry, preferably with started or completed forestry education
  • Driver's license class B

Personal qualities

You must like to work outside in all kinds of weather and the summer job can be physically demanding. You will work together in a team and you will be the supervisor who follows you up on a daily basis.
