We are looking for summer temps in the Home Service for the summer of 2026.

A summer job that will give you relevant practice if you want to educate yourself in health. We have well-qualified staff who provide various services to many of the municipality's inhabitants every day.

Homecare is one of the largest service areas in Lillehammer municipality and includes home care, practical assistance, everyday rehabilitation and user-controlled personal assistance (BPA).

We are co-located centrally in the city with good opportunities for public transport and parking for employees.

Departments in the Home Service for which summer temps are sought:

  • Home Service (East, North, Center, South, West and Nursing Service).


Tasks

  • Care and grooming
  • Helping people in food situation, preparing food
  • Dispensing medicine
  • Practical assistance
  • Activization and rehabilitation

Qualifications

  • You must have a very good command of spoken and written Norwegian
  • You must be at least 18 years old to to be considered
  • Motivation and desire to work closely with people is a prerequisite
  • You must have a driver's license class B to be able to work in the home care service

  • You must be positive and have a desire to work.
  • You must enjoy working both independently and in a team.
  • You must be flexible and enjoy varied work.
  • You must have a desire for personal learning and development.
  • Personal suitability will be emphasized.

We need temps from week 25 - 33, but if you have the opportunity to work as a temp before this period, it's fine. Training will be provided by agreement with each individual. Work must be expected every second weekend.
The home service needs nurses, protective nurses, health professionals and care workers. Students and pupils in health and care subjects are welcome to apply. Others with relevant experience and interest in the care profession can also apply.
We ask that you state in your application which weeks you can work. We hire on an ongoing basis. A approved police certificate is required if you are offered a position, cf. the Health and Care Services Act § 5-4.
