Veslelien, in Ringsaker municipality, is a residential institution in the specialist health service that offers interdisciplinary treatment. The target group is adult drug addicts of both sexes, with and without concurrent mental disorders. The institution has 50 treatment places. The treatment staff consists of psychiatrists, specialist psychologists/psychologists, doctors, nurses, protective nurses, child welfare educators, social workers, sports educators and music therapists.

Veslelien is organized into three treatment departments, two long-term departments of 9-12 months, and a sequential department. We also have our own health department.

We have vacancies for summer substitutes with up to 8 weeks duration.

The position has a two-part rotation, with work also on weekends.

Tasks

  • Participate in interdisciplinary work at the institution
  • Participate in the environmental therapeutic work
  • Individual follow-up of patients
  • Participate in department meetings/groups
  • Participate in activities/excursions

Qualifications and characteristics

  • Relevant college education, primarily health and social care. Students are also welcome to apply.
  • Good at interacting and collaborating with different groups
  • Independent and solution-oriented
  • Structured and responsible
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Driver's license class B

Personal suitability will be emphasized.
