Gyn Føde ward in Elverum is a combined ward. We have four delivery rooms and up to 19 beds for maternity and gynecological patients.

We need you who are positive and motivated as a holiday substitute with us in the summer of 2026!

Midwife Minimum 2 weeks or more, possibly come in several periods

Nursery nurse Minimum 4 weeks or more

Nurse Mnimum 4 weeks or more

For these positions, public approval is required and it is nice if you can say something about how much you can work. Individual agreements are made in relation to working hours and job size. Feel free to talk to the section manager if you have any questions.

Assistants up to 100% Minimum 6 weeks, would like you to be able to work every 2nd weekend, and three-part shifts.

You can apply for assistant positions if you are a nursing student, medical student or health professional.

Training of assistants will take place in the spring of 2026 or in week 25, this is agreed individually.

Interviews will be called for on an ongoing basis for suitable applicants, and hiring will take place on an ongoing basis.

Duties

Duties as expected according to midwife, nurse and pediatric nurse competencies.

• Documentation in our systems Partus, Dips arena and Metavison
• Care for our patients before, during and after birth.
• Assist in the care of maternity and gynecological patients
• Provide good security and care for all our patients

Assistant tasks:

• Assist in simpler patient tasks such as Onews, news, take watches, assist in care and care
• Recurring work, replenishing equipment, moving patients, preparing rooms, examination rooms and delivery rooms.
• Check and control of equipment
• Assist with other tasks according to competence.
• Special lists have been drawn up for assistants in the summer, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Public approval as a midwife, nurse or health worker with childcare training.
• Understand Norwegian orally and in writing

Assistant positions:

• Understand spoken and written Norwegian
