Sel municipality with approx. 6,000 inhabitants is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen with a short distance to the country's most beautiful and most visited national parks and rivers. The municipal and regional center Otta is an important transport hub for road and rail. Sel municipality is the host municipality for an extensive inter-municipal cooperation. We are also a commercial and industrial municipality with important workplaces in areas such as retail, the automotive industry, the graphics industry, wood processing, the food industry, the mechanical industry and the stone industry. We have a significant tourism and adventure industry based on Rondane, Heidal and the Sjoa river. Agriculture is still an important industry. A state-of-the-art local medical center is located next door to Sel town hall. Innlandet Hospital has significant operations in Otta.
The Nord-Gudbrandsdal local medical center and the nursing and care service are looking for holiday temps for 2026. Please state in your application from and until the date you can work.
