We need temporary staff in weeks 25-33.

If you are a nurse/assistant nurse/health professional/student nurse/medical student, we hope you want to apply.
The Department of Surgery, Hamar, treats patients within the specialties: Urology, gastro, vascular, plastic, breast and endocrine surgery and trauma patients distributed on 3 wards and a day ward. We need temporary staff for all wards and the day ward.

On the wards, we work in 3-part shifts. Holiday temps work every other weekend and in a rotation of approximately 80-100% incl. night shifts.
Vacation workers are expected to work a minimum of 5 weeks. Those who can work 5 weeks or more will be prioritized.

Sykehuset Innlandet focuses on good training of holiday temps, and we offer subject-specific training days before the start of the shift, preferably in week 24/25 by agreement.

Work tasks

As a nurse on a ward, you will have tasks such as:

  • Participate in doctor's visits
  • Administer medication
  • Perform various nursing procedures
  • Basic care and nursing, and mobilization of patients

As a health care worker/student nurse/medical student, you will have these tasks, among others:

  • Basic care, nursing and mobilization of patients
  • Basic work in the department, such as keeping order in the rinsing room and warehouse
  • Serving food and helping in food situations
  • Close cooperation with the nurse

Qualifications

  • Nurse
  • Student nurse
  • Medical student from 2. year (work as a nursing assistant)
  • Health care worker/auxiliary nurse
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian
  • Experience with care and nursing
