Are you the one?

Are you a 2nd or 3rd year nursing student, medical student, health professional or newly qualified nurse and looking for an exciting summer job in the summer of 2026?

Ortopedic ward has 29 beds, divided between the disciplines of orthopedics, ear-nose-throat and eye. The department has very good national results in the quality registers for hip, knee and back. Patients can have complex problems and often require a multidisciplinary approach, and we work closely with other professional groups and departments in the hospital. This provides the basis for a high level of activity, varied work tasks and the opportunity to gain broad experience through the vacation cover. Here you can get many pegs and hang further education on!

For the summer we need holiday temps in weeks 26-33. The holiday temps work 2-part or 3-part rotation with every other weekend in a rotation of about 80-100%. It is expected that the holiday workers can work a minimum of 5 weeks. Those who can work 5 weeks or more are given priority.

All holiday workers will receive good training. There will be general training days before the start of the rotation, in weeks 24-25. Priority will be given to applicants who can attend training in these weeks.
Please indicate in your application the period of time you can work and when you can come for training. It is also helpful if you indicate whether you are interested in and/or have experience of working night shifts.
Applicants will be offered employment on a rolling basis.
References must be provided in the application. Copies of relevant education and certificates should be attached to the application in Webcruiter.
