The nursing home service needs a locum physician this summer

Are you interested in nursing home medicine and want to work as a locum physician this summer? Then we hope you apply! Our permanent doctors are on vacation in different shifts, but at least one of our permanent doctors will be available to provide advice and guidance throughout the summer.

The institutional service consists of four nursing homes, Roverudhjemmet, Holttunet, Langelandhjemmet and Skyrud Dementia Center. The main goal is to organize services for sick and needy people who can no longer meet their daily needs for care at home.

Tasks

• Help ensure proper medical services in nursing homes throughout the summer
• Examine, treat and follow up patients
• Conduct interviews with patients and relatives
• Document in accordance with applicable regulations

• Collaborate with specialist health services and other health institutions
• Supervise and inform other health personnel

Qualifications

• Completed LIS1 or waiting for LIS1 position
• Medical students with a license are welcome to apply
  
• Good Scandinavian language skills both oral and written
• Driver's license cl. B
• Generally good ICT skills
• Experience from hospitals, nursing homes or home-based services is desirable
