Sommerhotellet is a small, historic hotel with 12 rooms and capacity for 25 guests.

We are currently looking for a friendly and outgoing service employee for the summer season. With us, you’ll enjoy a varied workday consisting of tasks such as working the front desk, serving in the restaurant and bar, and other as-needed duties.

Providing excellent service and creating personalized guest experiences means a lot to us. We believe it does for you, too. If you have an interest in food and wine and are comfortable recommending wine pairings, that’s a plus.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on responsibility, is self-motivated, and anticipates what needs to be done without being asked. Sommerhotellet is a small hotel with a small team, and everyone pitches in where needed. This means that during a workday, you might go from checking guests in at the front desk to serving guests, washing dishes, preparing breakfast, or helping with housekeeping if needed.

Experience in restaurant service, a bar, hotel reception, or similar service work is required.

The summer season runs from June 26 to August 16 (or parts of that period, preferably either the beginning or end of the season). Applicants must be over 20 years old and comfortable communicating with guests in Norwegian.
