We are looking for summer temps for the medical department Gjøvik - a great opportunity for you who want valuable experience and further job opportunities at the hospital.
With us, you get varied and interesting tasks in a committed and inclusive team. We are looking for nursing students, medical students, health care workers, health care students and others with experience in health care.

The Department of Internal Medicine consists of three wards with the following areas of expertise: Heart/Lung, Gastro/Infection/Stroke/Geriatrics and Hematology/Oncology.

Summer temps work day, evening, night and every other weekend.

Working period is mid-June to mid-August. State the desired time period and any department in the application.
The last application deadline is May 31, 2026, but we hire continuously during the period the ad is posted.

Tasks

• Observation, care and nursing of patients
• Reception and follow-up of patients
• Collaboration across professions
• Perform some procedures and surveys based on expertise and training
• Contribute to ensuring that patients and relatives are well taken care of during their stay.
• Document in Dips Arena and Metavision
• Maintain order and cleanliness in external spaces
• Tasks around meals
  

Qualifications - personal qualities

• Have reached the age of 18 or will turn 18 in 2026
• Master Norwegian orally and in writing
• Are flexible, solution-oriented and structured
• Meets patients and colleagues with a positive attitude and contributes to a good working environment
• Is hardworking and willing to learn
  
• Is adaptable and has good collaboration skills
  
• Can work on day, evening, night and weekend in the summer
• Experience in care is desirable
