This is your chance to get good work experience, meet new people and, not least, earn your own money. This year we have many exciting summer jobs, and there is guaranteed to be something that suits you.
This will be a great start to your working life and will be useful for the road ahead.
Working hours:
The summer job period lasts for 3/4 weeks. Working hours during the day 7.5 / 5.5 hours / day 4 days a week.
Our summer jobs:
The care centers in Snertingdal, Biri, Gjøvik center, Hunndalen and Sørbyen:
- Preparing, serving and cleaning up meals at the care centers.
- Miscellaneous tasks on the nursing wards, cleaning and logging tasks.
- Contributing to social activities for patients and residents, such as playing games, reading or going for walks.
- Kitchens and cafes at Biri, Gjøvik center, Nordbyen and Kirkeby:
- You'll get to work on preparing meals, packing goods, working with cleaning and washing up, and other kitchen tasks.
The communal laundry at Kirkeby:
- Work tasks with washing and sorting of clean and unclean laundry, tidying and cleaning.
Property and caretaker service in Gjøvik city center weeks 27-29 or 30-32:
- Mowing grass, painting, cleaning and other simple caretaker tasks.
- Park services in Gjøvik city center weeks 27-29 or 30-32:
- Maintaining flowers, watering and weeding.
- Making sure our parks and streets are clean and tidy.
In all workplaces, you work together with others and you receive good training in the tasks to be performed.
We are looking for people who:
- Are between 16-18 years old
- Live in Gjøvik municipality
- Are conscientious and show up on time
- Who show initiative, take responsibility and want to learn
- Who have a good mood and like to get to know new people
