Tynset municipality offers 16 summer jobs for young people between the ages of 15 and 18 who are registered as residents of Tynset municipality. The jobs are mainly offered to those who have no previous work experience.
Through a summer job in Tynset municipality, you will gain work experience and knowledge of the municipality as an employer.
You will receive training and guidance.
Duration: Either 2 or 3 weeks, depending on which of the jobs you apply for. It is important that you read the description for each type of job. Anyone who has a summer job in Tynset municipality must work in the weeks that are offered.

- Tronstua kindergarten
Helping children in play and apprenticeship, both inside and outside.
Period: Weeks 26, 27 and 28 (22.06.-10.07.)
- Skogsstua Kindergarten
Helping children in play and apprenticeship, both outside and inside.
Period: Weeks 26, 27 and 28 (22.06.-10.07.)
- Haverslia Kindergarten
Helping children in play and learning, both outside and inside.
Period: Weeks 26, 27 and 28 (22.06.-10.07.)
- SFO Tynset elementary school
Facilitating activities for children aged 6-9 years. Help in food and wardrobe situations and assist both children and staff in everyday life at SFO.
Period: Weeks 26, 27 and 28 (22.06.-10.07.)
- Service for the disabled
Helping with daily chores, as well as contributing with activities, conversations and other tasks related to our users and patients. This can include helping with meals, going for walks, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping things tidy.
Perioe: Weeks 30, 31 and 32 (20.07.-07.08.)
- Health service, day center
Help with daily chores, as well as contributing with activities, conversations and other tasks towards our users and patients. This can include helping with meals, going for walks, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping things tidy.

- Home service, care homes
Help with daily chores, as well as contributing with activities, conversations and other tasks towards our users and patients. This can include helping with meals, going for walks, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping things tidy.

- Institution service, department Oppistu
Help with daily chores, as well as contributing with activities, conversations and other tasks towards our users and patients. This can include helping with meals, going for walks, playing cards, reading newspapers, cleaning and keeping order.

- Summer in work
Practical and varied work together with other young people. It can be forestry work and basic work with hand tools.
Period: Weeks 27 and 28 (29.06.-10.07.)
We require a police certificate for everyone who will be working with children and young people and in health and care. You will be informed more about this upon appointment.
Tynset municipality offers:
Hourly wage: NOK 162.86 - NOK 183.22 depending on age under/over 16 years. NOK 203.58 over the age of 18.
Once the application deadline has passed, an appointments committee will review all applications. You will then be notified whether you will be offered a job or not.
We conduct a joint information meeting for everyone who is offered a summer job.
