Stange municipality has many tasks to be solved during the summer period and we are ready to welcome motivated young people. The jobs are aimed at young people aged 15-18 years and have different durations. We encourage young people in Stange municipality to apply.

The youth council in Stange has emphasized the importance of summer jobs being a taste of working life. Summer jobs should give young people experience, contacts and give them a work certificate on their CV.

If there is a very large number of applicants, Stange municipality will not be able to take all applicants in for an interview. The information about how the interviews are conducted will be sent together with the invitation to the interview to the relevant applicants. Stange municipality will distribute the jobs based on, among other things, an assessment of the candidates' place of residence.

Anyone who is offered a position in Stange Municipality must attend a briefing at Stange Town Hall where their rights and obligations as an employee are reviewed.
The period in which work is needed will be within: June 19 - August 21.

Work tasks

Job in SFO.
SFO needs motivated young people who can provide care to the children, be present as a safe adult/youth, guide them in play, participate in varied activities both indoors and outdoors. For children at SFO, young people will be natural confidants who are safe in conversation with children.

Job in kindergarten
The kindergartens in Stange need young people who like to play and be active with the children. You should be self-confident and enjoy a fast-paced working day. We are looking for young people who take the initiative to create good experiences for our children. You need to be independent and be able to help the children throughout the day with helping to get dressed, toilet visits, meal situations to name a few.

Working at our library
Stange library needs independent and motivated young people who can help fill the offer at the library. An important task will be to design and implement an activity program for young children in the the library. Other tasks include routine library work such as tidying, labeling and sorting, as well as physical and digital communication through exhibitions, social media and more.

Job in the property department
The property department organizes the municipality's operating and management services. Many will recognize this as caretakers and cleaners. Both caretakers and cleaners are organized in different areas and have a wide range of tasks to perform. Examples include maintenance of building exteriors (painting), looking after the municipality's playgrounds, tidying and cleaning buildings.

Job at Ottestad helse- og mestring:

Conduct activities during the day that enhance the joy and quality of life for the individual patient! Activities can be singing and music, rhymes and rules, food and meals, walking and exercise, ball and games, culture and history! We have a small zoo that needs supervision and care.

Job at BUA:

BUA works to give children and young people the opportunity to try more and more varied activities and inspire play, movement and outdoor life. At BUA Stange you can borrow sports and outdoor equipment for free! You'll find us on the ground floor of Stange Ungdomsskole - Kongsvegen 12.

Job at Bolleland:

Bolleland is a popular kiosk and gas station at Espa Service Center, known for their famous Espa buns. They offer a wide range of locally produced food, road food, and branded products. Tasks will be customer service, checkout, cooking, product replenishment and not least bun handling.

Job at Atlungstad:

Atlungstad Brenneri is a national cultural monument and Norway's oldest craft distillery, established in 1855. We offer guided tours that provide insight into the production of our famous aquavit, as well as tasting experiences in our restaurant. They need help cleaning the restaurant and tasks related to outdoor seating. With us, you get a unique combination of history, culture and gastronomy.

Job at Mjøsli:
Mjøsli Hytter og Naturpark offers scenic cabins and plots with panoramic views of Lake Mjøsa. They have tasks such as preparing cabins for rental and cleaning, supervising/feeding 2-4 pigs, chickens and other animals, work in the field and other incidental work, woodwork and painting houses. It is possible to set up a tent and stay in Mjøsli during the work period.

Qualifications
