Are you the one?

The Lillehammer Intensive Care Unit is part of the Department of Emergency Medicine, which consists of the emergency room, anesthesia, intensive care, and postoperative care. The intensive care unit admits all patients requiring monitoring or intensive care, and we have a department with challenging tasks and a high level of professional expertise.

We are looking for summer vacation temps, and there is also the opportunity to work shifts at other times of the year after completing training.

As a summer temp, your primary responsibility will be monitoring the heart rhythms of patients in telemetry beds. This is a unique opportunity to delve into cardiology, including the interpretation of ECGs and heart rhythms in real time. You will also be part of the fast-paced daily routine in the intensive care unit, where the most critically ill patients are treated. Relevant training will be provided in the department, and you must successfully complete practical training and an e-learning course before being given independent responsibility. Working as a summer intern with us is a valuable experience highly recommended by former medical students!
Lillehammer Hospital offers exciting opportunities when you apply for your LIS position, and a summer internship with us can help you build a useful professional network.
