Description of the workplace:

Gjøvik municipality has organized health and care services for younger people with various disabilities and assistance needs in adapted services. The target group for the services is people with disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental disorders and/or substance abuse problems. Adapted services have 12 different businesses at Haugtun/Sentrum, Sørbyen, Åslundmarka/Hunndalen and Biri/Snertingdal. The businesses vary in terms of user groups and operating units: Co-located full-time care homes for people with intellectual disabilities and for people with mental disorders, outpatient home services for the same target groups, including substance abuse care, and an activity center and respite unit for people with intellectual disabilities. The work environments are inclusive, pleasant and characterized by professionally committed employees.

We are committed to maintaining the professional and good quality of the service also through the summer. You will have the opportunity for professional and personal development in collaboration with good colleagues. Training for new summer employees is offered prior to start-up.

Position percentage: Part-time positions and up to 100% temporary positions, including weekend work. There is a need for temporary staff throughout the year, but the greatest need is in the period from mid-June, July and August.

• You will work with activities and tasks that contribute to a better and active everyday life, with a focus on self-determination, habilitation and coping

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 years of age
• Assistants, pupils and students are encouraged to apply
• For social workers and nurses, authorization is required
• Social or educational and other relevant educations are desired in interdisciplinary tasks
• You must have a good command of Norwegian, both orally and in writing
• Police certificate without remarks must be presented
