Sør-Aurdal municipality is looking for summer temps for the health and care service in weeks 26-33. We need temps in these departments:

*Homecare: upper and outer part; is divided into home nursing and practical assistance / home help. The purpose of home care is to provide necessary health care according to individually assessed needs to people living at home, younger and older, so that they can live at home for as long as possible. Practical assistance / home help is cleaning carried out according to separate decisions. In addition, the home care service staffs full-time care homes in both the upper and outer parts.

*Facilitated services: consists of a total of 4 residential communities in the upper and outer part, Tingvolltoppen work offer, as well as BPA, support contact and relief. Services are provided to people with intellectual disabilities, or others with a need for facilitation and assistance in mastering daily tasks and taking care of their own health.

*Sør-Aurdalsheimen: The nursing home is the municipality's highest level of care and aims to provide housing and treatment for sick and needy people with somatic and cognitive illnesses who cannot live at home. The nursing home has its own kitchen with expertise in nutrition, where food is produced for nursing home patients and people living at home. It also has its own laundry and cleaning department.

Work tasks

Work tasks will vary in the different departments.

Mainly, it will be:

- help with personal hygiene
- help in food situation
- drug management
- supervision for safety
- conversations and environmental measures.

At Sør Aurdalsheimen, young people can apply for jobs in the kitchen and cleaning.

Qualifications

• We are looking for health professionals/nurses with Norwegian authorization.
• Students and those who want to gain experience in working with people are also welcome to apply.
  
• Good Norwegian written and oral presentation skills.
• A police certificate must be presented before starting.
