Kongsvinger municipality's goal is for residents to be able to look after their own health, have the opportunity to live and live independently and have an active and meaningful life in community with others. With the help of innovation, digitization and welfare technology, the municipality's employees will involve users to achieve the goal.

The unit consists of Austmarka and Holt full-time staffed care homes and Hov bofellesskap. Users are allocated services according to decisions based on need and functional level. The work is based on the home-best perspective, where everyday coping is facilitated so that residents can manage as long as possible in their own homes.

We are looking for committed and active summer temps with an interest in older people and who want to work with us in the weeks 25-32 when our permanent employees will be on vacation. We offer good training, a start-up package with relevant courses and a good working environment with a professional focus.

The place of work is HDO/HBT at Austmarka. We accept applicants on an ongoing basis and until the application deadline expires.


Tasks

  • Perform daily life tasks such as activity, nutrition, practical assistance and personal care and self-care
  • Supervise and be responsible for users with different assistance needs and challenges
  • Sampling, measurements and observations
  • Maintain electronic records
  • Medication management

Qualifications

  • Nurse, social worker, health care worker, assistant
  • Students are welcome to apply
  • Generally good ICT skills and willingness to learn relevant professional systems
  • It is desirable with experience from hospitals, nursing homes or home-based services
  • Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian
