We are looking for you who are a social worker, nurse, educator, social worker, child welfare worker, child and youth worker, health worker, or you who have experience from / interest in working with the disabled. If you have work experience from another field and want to try something completely new, we would like to hear from you. Work with adapted services for children, young people and adults with disabilities.
Targeted environmental work with individually adapted services with a focus on self-management and an active everyday life.
The services will be professionally based and the social worker/special educator will guide and follow up your work. The services are adapted to functional level, age and season.
The working day at Bismotunet is varied, among other things, you assist the care recipients in everything from daily chores in the home to active work and outdoor life, where you get the opportunity to use the beautiful nature we have in Skjåk.
Personal assistant service and user-controlled personal assistant (BPA)
This service is for people who have a long-term need for personal assistance with everyday tasks. A personal assistant facilitates the best possible and independent life for the recipient despite disabilities. Examples of this include transportation to necessary tasks and appointments, help with practical tasks in the home, personal care and adaptation, as well as food and meals.
We provide training and have close interdisciplinary collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists and GPs.
This is a rewarding summer job whether you are a student/pupil in further education, or just want to try your hand as a personal assistant.
The team has a predominance of men, and this is at the request of one of the recipients, men/boys are particularly encouraged to apply.
There is also a need for temporary staff outside the summer holidays, both spring and fall are relevant for temporary work.
A recent, approved police certificate is required for all summer temps
It is desirable that you communicate clearly in Norwegian, both orally and in writing
Driver's license class B is required for applicants over the age of 18

.With a summer job in the municipality, you will get arranged working hours with good working conditions, training and the opportunity for versatile experience in a developing workplace. We have many challenging and varied work assignments. You will have many skilled and committed colleagues. The municipality can help with housing if needed.
Training will be provided. New temps will be contacted and invited to visit before starting.
You can write in the application what area you want to work in. Working hours are according to the current rota with work up to every second weekend, and the primary working period is from week 26 up to and including week 33. We would like you to state in your application if you need time off on certain days during the summer.
