The neonatal intensive care unit at Innlandet Hospital, Lillehammer, is looking for you who are a specialist nurse, nurse, nursing student, pediatric nurse or medical student.
The neonatal intensive care unit is a specialist department that treats sick newborns and premature babies from week 28 of pregnancy.
This summer, we need holiday temps in the weeks 25-33, position percentage up to 100%. Priority will be given to applicants with a special interest in the subject and who can work a minimum of four weeks. The work involves three-part shifts and weekend work. Possibility of extension after the summer of 2026.
Police certificate must be presented before appointment.
Appointments may be made on an ongoing basis.
Duties
- Observations, care and treatment of sick newborns and premature babies
- Nursing care for children in a stable growth phase with a focus on family-based care
- Parental guidance
- Interaction guidance
- Breastfeeding guidance
- Occasional work
Qualifications
- Special care nurses must have Norwegian authorization
- Child care nurses must have Norwegian authorization
- Medical students
- Nursing students
- Applicants must be fluent in written and oral Norwegian
