Technical Operations, Gjøvik, is looking for a vacation replacement for technical guard in the department of property management

The units for technical operation and maintenance ensure the operation and maintenance of the property and infrastructure in the buildings at our hospitals, as well as several of the smaller institutions. Important infrastructure services include the supply of electricity, water, heating, gas and more. The units also provide services in areas such as waste management, elevators, fire protection and access control.

We are on duty from 07:00 to 18:00 and at home from 18:00 to 07:00.
Saturday/Sunday we are on duty from 07:30 to 13:00 and at home the rest of the day.

The department for property management is divided into operating departments at each location
The technical operation and maintenance section at Gjøvik Hospital is located in Kyrre Grepps gate 11. The section has 17 permanent employees and provides services within all professional groups that operate the entire building stock and the technical facilities. The area is approximately 30,000 m2.

Tasks

  • Monitoring, operation and maintenance: Continuous monitoring and maintenance of the building's technical systems and equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Fault finding and repairs of the building's machinery and equipment.
  • Safety checks: Perform periodic inspections and checks to prevent technical faults and ensure that safety standards are met.
  • Documentation: Maintain necessary documentation of assigned routine tasks/checks performed.
  • Collaboration: work closely with other departments to coordinate technical support and ensure technical needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian
  • Desirable with an interest in technical facilities and operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and good communication skills.
  • The job involves a lot of walking and standing work.
  • Experience from technical operations department desirable but not required
  • Good computer skills
  • Driver's license class B
