Home-based services Kongsvinger consists of home nursing, practical assistance (home help), personal assistant/municipal BPA, day center and ambulatory night service in the municipality. Users are allocated services according to need and functional level. The work is based on the home-best perspective and facilitates everyday coping and the opportunity for residents to be able to manage as long as possible in their own home.
We are looking for committed and active summer temps with an interest in older people and who want to work in home care preferably in the weeks 26 - 33 as our permanent employees will be on vacation, but are also in need of on-call temps throughout the year. We offer good training, start-up package with relevant e-learning courses and a good working environment with professional focus.
Tasks
- Perform activities of daily living such as activity, nutrition, practical assistance and personal care and self-care
- Collaborate with other professional groups for the implementation and follow-up of goals and action plans
- Sampling, measurements and observations
- Maintain electronic records
- Medication management
Qualifications
- Nursing assistants, medical students, nursing and social care students, health science and care workers and others
- Experience from nursing homes or home-based services is desirable
- Generally good ICT skills and willingness to learn relevant professional systems
- Good oral and written presentation skills
- Driver's license class B
