Avesta, Sverige
Type of Employment Full-time
Job position Business developer
Work model On location
Application due date 21 June 2026
Are you the one?

This is a role for you who want to take greater responsibility for the business from the first opportunity to a feasible solution.

We at Jernbro work with industrial services in mechanics, electricity, pipes, machining as well as welding and forging, both at the customer's site and in our own workshops.

What characterizes us is that we combine technical competence with the ability to make things work in practice. We work close to our customers and close to the business and take responsibility all the way from need to implementation.

Now we want to take the next step in how we run our business, with a clearer focus on projects, complete solutions and new types of assignments.

About the role

In this role, you work to develop and drive business that requires a well-thought-out approach, from early dialogue to finished business.

You are involved early in the process and are expected to take overall responsibility for the deal, where you help shape the content, approach and value - not just the calculation.

The role includes both developing business with existing customers and identifying new opportunities where we can make a real difference.

You work independently with your business, but in close interaction with both the business and the customer. The role is mobile and means that you are largely out in the business and in dialog with customers.

In the role you will:

  • Capture opportunities early and drive them forward
  • Influence how assignments are designed so that they become feasible and profitable
  • Develop calculations and structure and price deals
  • Prioritize which deals are the right ones to move forward with
  • Develop and structure recurring work into clearer and more value-creating offers

You drive your deals from idea to feasible solution, with a clear link to results and profitability, and build your own pipeline over time.

You have a great deal of personal responsibility and freedom to drive your work forward and contribute with a business perspective where you are comfortable challenging the approach, scope and pricing when needed.

We are looking for you

You have a technical background and are used to working closely with both business and implementation. Perhaps you are currently working as a project manager, estimator, preparer or operational manager and want to take greater responsibility for the business.

You have experience from industrial service, construction or similar activities and are confident in calculating jobs and preparing tenders. You understand what affects profitability and have driven business or assignments forward, not just participated in them.

You also have a good technical understanding in one or more relevant areas, such as mechanics, electricity, pipes or welding.

To succeed in the role, you are business-minded, self-driven and confident in dialog with both customers and operations. You are used to taking responsibility and driving things to the finish line.

You are used to developing business plans where you weigh together technology, implementation and business.

We offer

  • A role with great personal responsibility and real impact on the business
  • The opportunity to work closely with both customers and the business from idea to implementation
  • Various assignments in several technology areas and industries
  • The opportunity to develop both existing business and establish new ones
  • An organization where decision-making paths are short and where you can quickly turn ideas into business
  • The opportunity to develop further in the role in line with the business and take greater responsibility over time

Application

Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about the role, you are welcome to contact the recruiting manager Thomas Johansson on tel. 010 483 02 53.
