We recently moved into state-of-the-art premises in Norra Ryd's industrial area - a pleasant and safe workplace with 50 committed colleagues, 30 of whom belong to Component Service. In the Electric Motor Service department, you will be part of a close-knit group of 6 people. We are a family unit that works together to deliver top quality and reliable service to our customers in the automotive and other industries. We work with repairs of electric motors, spindles, and electronics as well as with service and rebuilds directly at our customers. We have a wide and varied clientele ranging from local companies to national and international players. Work tasks As part of the electric motor service team, you will take on challenges every day with support. Your role will consist of repairing electric/servomotors with a focus on the specialist area of rewinding. The work means great opportunity for variety as we are brand-independent and repair a large flora of brands, as well as many different types of electric motors. Most of the work is done in our own workshop, but if you want to come out to the customer, there are also occasions when we perform service on site with our customers. You will mainly work independently, but at the same time have a close collaboration with your colleagues. The main focus will be on winding electric motors, but the tasks also include troubleshooting and repairing electric motors. With us, there are good opportunities to grow and develop in your role. Depending on your interest and experience, you may have the opportunity to: - Develop test equipment and working methods to improve our processes. - Contribute with suggestions for improvements to make our operations even more efficient and forward-looking. - Work with processing machines, for those who want to broaden their technical skills. In the role of winder, you will be phased in over a longer period and walk alongside an experienced employee to be given the opportunity to learn the profession. Over time, the idea is that you will be part of a group of winders. Who are you? We're looking for someone with a keen interest in technology, drive and a curiosity to develop. To succeed in the role as a winder, you need not only a mechanical aptitude, but also basic electrical knowledge and a high level of accuracy. As a person, you are structured, methodical and service-oriented. You enjoy collaborating but can also work independently and take your own initiatives. Skills that are valuable for the role: - Strong mechanical interest and understanding of electromechanics - Creative problem solving skills - Experience in winding or repairing electric motors, or other precision mechanical repairs, is an advantage.
