About us

We are a family team of six people who work with the repair and service of electric motors, everything from small standard motors to advanced servo and robot motors.

Component Service is part of a stable and growing group and a total of about 30 people work with us here in Skövde. We are located in modern, well-equipped premises in Norra Ryd, where technology, craftsmanship and problem solving meet every day. Here we help each other, share knowledge and are proud to be able to do something that very few master today.

Your role

As a Winding/Electric Motor Repairer you will:

- Work practically with repair, service and rewinding of electric motors

- Troubleshoot and analyze faults in motors and associated equipment

- Test and check the performance of the motors

- Sometimes help out at the customer's site

What does winding mean?

It's a precision job where you replace the old windings of the motors with new ones - a craft that few know today, and which we teach you from scratch.

You'll start by walking alongside an experienced colleague who will show you the craft step by step. Gradually, you grow into the role and become an important part of the team.

Who are you

We are looking for you who want to develop in electricity and mechanics and enjoy working practically, carefully and with technology that requires precision.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

- Practical experience of technical work (eg. e.g. electrical, industrial or automotive technical program, or equivalent practical experience

We believe that you are currently working as e.g. service technician, maintenance technician, industrial mechanic or have a similar background.

The most important thing is that you are careful, patient and curious to learn something new.

You do not need to know winding today but you have the desire to learn a craft that requires precision and endurance over time.
