About the role

As a pipe welder at Jernbro, you’ll work with welding, assembly, and maintenance in the industrial sector. You’ll be an important part of our projects and service assignments, where you’ll help ensure high quality, operational reliability, and long-term solutions for our clients.

The work is varied and is primarily carried out at our customers’ sites in the Gothenburg area, but travel and work in other locations may occur depending on the scope and needs of the projects.

Your responsibilities may include, among other things:

  • Welding of pressure-bearing piping systems according to drawings, specifications, and isometric diagrams
  • TIG welding of piping systems
  • Stick welding (MMA)
  • Assembly, repair, and maintenance in industrial settings
  • Reading drawings, performing quality checks, and documentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues in mechanics, piping, and industrial maintenance

You will work with clients in sectors such as industry, energy, the process industry, and plant operations, where quality, safety, and operational reliability are key priorities.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as an industrial pipe welder who is confident in TIG and stick welding. You have experience working with pressure-bearing piping systems, a good knowledge of materials, and are accustomed to working from drawings and isometric diagrams.

You are quality-conscious, meticulous, and understand the importance of adhering to requirements and specifications in your work. As a person, you are self-motivated, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working independently but are equally happy to collaborate with colleagues from different professional fields to find the best solutions for the customer.

We would like you to have:

  • Several years of experience in industrial pipe welding
  • Experience with TIG and stick welding
  • Experience with welding in pressure-bearing systems
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and isometric diagrams
  • Good knowledge of materials
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Basic computer skills

Desirable

  • Valid welding certifications
  • Passed welding qualification test
  • Experience with pipe assembly or pipe laying
  • Experience in the process, energy, or petrochemical industries
