About the role

As Group Manager, you are responsible for our operations in industrial service and mechanical work for heavy industry, where you have overall responsibility for people, business and results. You lead the work through your three supervisors and together you manage and develop the team that works in the field and in the workshop. This means that you have short decision-making paths, a large mandate and the opportunity to influence both working methods and business without getting stuck in heavy bureaucracy. If you have ideas, you have both the will and the opportunity to implement them.

You are motivated by leading through others and creating results together with your team. For you, leadership is not a task, it is a driving force.

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience with staff responsibility
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the group, with a focus on strengthening leadership and ways of working in the business
  • Drive business and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business
  • Ensure planning, staffing and daily management of the business
  • Ensure quality and efficient ways of working in the business
  • Have full staff responsibility (work environment, rehabilitation, performance reviews)
  • Budget and performance responsibility and ongoing follow-up
  • Drive improvement work from idea to implementation
  • Active work on safety, which is one of our highest priorities
  • Collaborate closely with other functions and departments as well as upper secondary school and adult education

Your profile

We are looking for you who are driven by leadership and motivated by making others grow and perform together.

You have:

  • Experience in industrial service, mechanical work or other relevant experience in heavy industry
  • Ability to drive business and understand financial relationships
  • High quality focus in your and your group's deliveries
  • A structured approach and good prioritization skills
  • A clear, coaching and engaging leadership
  • Good computer skills and experience with the Office package
  • B driving license

Additional:

  • Experience working in a mining environment
  • Experience in calculation or preparation in steel/forging
  • Post-secondary education in engineering or management
