About the role
As a maintenance electrician with us, you get a key role in securing the operation and developing the maintenance of one of our largest customers in Västerås. You work both independently and in close collaboration with committed colleagues in an assignment where your technical competence and problem-solving ability are crucial.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment
- Troubleshooting, repairs and supervision
- Participation in improvement projects and electrical installations
- Smaller electrical projects where you have your own responsibility
- On-call duty may occur
You are placed at the customer in Västerås and belong to our competent team within Region Mitt. We offer a varied job where you get the opportunity to influence, grow and contribute to the customer's and Jernbro's development.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have several years of experience as an electrician, preferably in industry, and who thrive in a role with responsibility, variety and technical challenges. You are careful, solution-oriented and like to work both independently and together with others.
You have a hands-on approach, take initiative and see the value in delivering reliable and safe solutions for our customers.
We would like you to have:
- A secondary education in electricity and at least 5 years of experience in practical electrical work
(alternatively at least 8 years of experience if you have no formal training)
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance in production environments
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems and automation
- Good computer skills
- Swedish in speech and writing
- B-driving license
Meritorious if you also have:
- Authorization or other electrical authorization
- Experience of project management, construction, pneumatics or hydraulics
- Knowledge of switchgear, high voltage and electrical construction
- English in speech and writing
- Post-secondary education, e.g. vocational college in electricity or automation
