At Jernbro in Västerås, we are now looking for a self-driven industrial electrician who wants to work close to production where fast, safe and long-term solutions are required. The role As an industrial electrician with us, you will play a central role in the operational safety of one of our largest customers. You will be part of an experienced team but at the same time have great responsibility. You will work with: - Advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and control systems - Preventive maintenance and supervision - Adaptation and installation in existing equipment - Improvement work and smaller projects with own responsibility - Documentation and reporting in maintenance systems The work requires independence, technical breadth and the ability to make quick decisions that directly affect production. On-call duty may be required. Who are you? We are looking for an industrial electrician who is used to troubleshooting and maintenance in a production environment, rather than traditional installation work. You are confident in your professional role, have good analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach. You like to work practically, take responsibility and see technical challenges as something positive. We would like to see that you have: - At least 10 years of experience in electrical work, including several years in industry - Solid experience in troubleshooting control cabinets, motor controls and sensor systems - Good understanding of electrical safety and industry standards - Basic knowledge of PLC/control systems - Good computer skills and documentation skills - Swedish in speech and writing and B-driving license Meritorious It is not a requirement, but if you also have experience or knowledge in any of the following areas, we see it as an extra plus: - Authorization or other electrical qualification - Project management, construction, pneumatics or hydraulics - Switchgear, high voltage or electrical construction - English in speech and writing - Post-secondary education, e.g. vocational college in electricity or automation The most important thing is that you have the right experience, independence and ability to solve problems to step in and contribute from day one.
