About the role As a Maintenance Mechanic at Jernbro, you get an important and developing role in ensuring the operation and improving the maintenance of one of our largest customers. The location is at the customer in Västerås, where you work both independently and together with experienced colleagues in a varied, technology-related assignment where your skills make a real difference. The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and participation in improvement and installation projects. You will also have the opportunity to run smaller projects with your own responsibility. The position may also involve participation in standby duty. You will be part of our dedicated team in Region Mitt, where we together create solutions that strengthen our customers' production and development. We are looking for you who have a strong mechanical background. Preferably with experience from industry, but the most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in mechanics. Perhaps you have worked on cars, machines or engines in your spare time and enjoy solving technical problems both professionally and privately. You have a practical approach, a solution-oriented mindset and enjoy seeing the results of a job well done. We look for you to have: - Solid experience in mechanical maintenance in industry - Good experience of troubleshooting and repair - Knowledge of welding, pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage - Basic computer skills - Good Swedish in speech and writing - B-driving license If you also have a relevant education in industry or mechanics, it is a plus, but the most important thing is your experience and attitude.
