Who are we?
At Komponentservice in Skövde, you will join a unit that has increased in volume in recent years and the ambition going forward is to continue to grow the business. You will end up in a large company that provides security, a unit with low staff turnover and a flat organization where there is the opportunity to influence. We have recently moved into brand new premises in Norra Ryd's industrial area, where we have designed a safe and pleasant workplace. We are around 50 employees housed in Norra Ryd, of which 30 belong to Component Service.
At Komponentservice in Skövde, we repair spindles, electric motors, electronics, as well as perform service and rebuilds on machines at our customers. Our customers consist of a large flora both locally and nationally, but there is also some element of international customers.
For our spindle department, we are looking for you who are service-oriented and curious, with a penchant for fine mechanical work. You will develop in a specialist group with unique expertise in Sweden.
You will have an important role in the group and we hope that you will be inspired by the challenges we have ahead of us. The department is a small group of 5 competent employees who work closely together to deliver top-class service to our customers every day.
The role
As a Spindle Technician/Fine Mechanic, you will be part of our specialist team for the refurbishment of machining spindles. This involves dismantling, troubleshooting and analyzing broken spindles, measuring, assembling, balancing and running in our test benches, as well as issuing test reports before delivery to the customer. Most of the work is carried out in our workshop, but work can occur with, among other things, problem solving, disassembly and assembly of spindles in the customer's machine. You will mainly work independently, but at the same time have a close collaboration with your colleagues.
The tasks include, among other things:
- Troubleshooting/refurbishment of various spindles.
- measuring and adjusting mechanical parts to a high level of accuracy
- Development of test equipment and manufacture of special tools.
- Making suggestions for improvements to operations.
- Running machining centers.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in technology and a drive to develop yourself. As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and we attach great importance to a sense of responsibility and a sense of order. The work requires a high degree of accuracy and analytical ability. It is important that you can work both independently and in a team.
You have a secondary school education with a mechanical focus and experience in machine renovation,
mechanical maintenance work, machining and/or similar. You can operate machine tools and have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity. You can read drawings and handle measuring tools.
