Our Group Engineering in Finspång has increased demand so we now need to strengthen our team with another Mechanical Designer. The role In the role of Mechanical Designer with us at Jernbro, you will be part of a wonderful team of designers who like the mix of technology and having fun at work. With us, you are met with varying types of problem solving and improvement work in light and heavy industry. Here you will work with feasibility studies/concepts, design, calculations, CE marking, documentation, archiving, inquiry documents and calculations. Over time, you will build up a network of contacts with our customers to become a design resource in their daily work. You will be involved in meetings with our customers and help find solutions to their needs of various kinds. The common thread is to work out a trust and long-term cooperation with each customer, and also with internal departments at Jernbro. Our group places great emphasis on helping / supporting each other internally in our design assignments, to ensure that the design and documentation are according to the wishes / request before the documentation is sent for manufacturing. Depending on where our customer assignments are located, business trips may be part of the work. The emphasis of the customer base is naturally in the Finspång region, but we also undertake assignments at a longer distance. With us, you will have great responsibility under freedom, flexible working hours, and to some extent remote work. Your profile To succeed in the role of Mechanical Designer with us, we see that you: - Have a mechanical engineering degree or have an equivalent theoretical base built on professional experience. - Have practical experience in medium and heavy industry, (service / maintenance organizations) - Has several years of experience in the development of various design documents / solutions for manufacturing. - Has good knowledge of strength calculations for steel structures. - Has good knowledge of the Machinery Directive, Applicable laws, regulations and CE marking. - Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. - Have good working knowledge of CAD (We use Creo Elements Direct Modeling) - Is creative, responsible, cost-conscious and drives independently towards set goals. Meritorious if you: - Have knowledge of PED and directives overall harmonized std regarding pipes, pressure vessels, tanks. - Have experience in FEM calculations.
