Are you a skilled welder looking to work with pipe welding in a variety of industrial settings?

We are currently seeking pipe welders for our operations in Luleå. We’re looking for both those who already have experience in pipe welding—preferably with TIG and/or stick welding—and those who are skilled welders in other areas and want to further develop their skills in pipe welding.

Previous experience with pipe welding is a big plus, but what matters most to us is that you have a solid foundation in welding, are meticulous in your work, and have the desire and ability to grow.

About the Role

As a pipe welder with us, you’ll primarily work on welding and assembling pipes at our customers’ industrial facilities. Assignments vary and may include new construction, retrofitting, repairs, and routine maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• welding and joining pipes
• manufacturing and customizing pipes and piping systems
• preparation and alignment prior to welding
• disassembly and assembly
• repairs and maintenance
• working from drawings and technical documentation
• problem-solving and adjustments at customers’ facilities

The job requires precision and strong technical skills. In the industry, reality doesn’t always match the drawing exactly, so you need to be able to think practically, solve problems, and work with your colleagues to find effective solutions.

If you haven’t worked with pipe welding before but have a strong background in welding, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in this area alongside experienced colleagues.

The work is primarily carried out on-site at our customers’ facilities in the Luleå area. You’ll therefore enjoy the variety of working in different industrial environments, while the work is primarily local and does not involve long-distance travel.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, we’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in welding who takes pride in the quality of the work you produce.

You may already be working as a pipe welder and have experience with TIG and/or stick welding of pipes. However, you may also have experience with other types of skilled welding and feel that pipe welding is an area where you want to take the next step in your career.

Previous experience in pipe welding—particularly TIG and/or stick welding—is a plus but not required.

To thrive in this role, you need to be hands-on and able to read and understand blueprints. You also need to be comfortable working with measurements and simple calculations related to manufacturing and assembly.

As a person, you’re meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You take pride in your craftsmanship and understand the importance of getting the job done right. At the same time, you enjoy working with others, as our projects are often carried out in teams with a variety of professional skills.

We’re looking for someone with:

• training in welding or equivalent knowledge and experience
• solid knowledge of welding
• ability to read technical drawings
• ability to work with measurements and simple calculations
• a Class B driver’s license
• strong ability to communicate in Swedish and understand technical instructions in English
• basic computer skills

It is advantageous if you have:

• previous experience with TIG and/or stick pipe welding
• experience with pipe assembly and working with piping systems
• experience in industry and maintenance
• valid welding certifications
